Run as Windows Service

If desired, you can opt to have the ParaLaw Database Server run as a "Windows Service". This is an advanced feature of Windows that allows the ParaLaw Server to automatically start up and run in the background without having to have someone actually login to the server computer.

 

If you are using a full-blown server in your office, such as Windows Server, then your IT people may very well want to utilize this feature for added security and convenience
